Setting Up a New Email Account
1) In Outlook Express
1. Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools then Accounts.
2. Click on the Mail tab
Click Add on the right hand side.

3. Select Mail...

4. Enter your name in the Display Name field.
Click Next

5. Enter your email address in the Email Address field.
Click Next.

6. Select POP3 from the My Incoming Mail Server is a ____ server drop down
menu.
Enter pop3.molalla.net in the Incoming Mail (POP3, IMPA, or HTTP) server
field.
Enter smtp.molalla.net in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server field.
Click Next.
7. Enter your complete email address in the Account Name field.
Enter your password in the Password field.
Remember Password should already be checked.
Click Next.

8. Click Finish.
We have to make one more setting:
9. Select the new account and Click on Properties.

10. Click on the Servers tab.
11. Under the Outgoing Mail Server Heading at the bottom Select My server requires authentication.
Click OK

13. Click Close.
Close Outlook Express and reopen.

You should now be able to send and receive e-mails through Outlook Express.

2) In Outlook 2003
1. Open Outlook.
Click on Tools and then Email Accounts.
2. Select Add a New Email Account.
Click Next.
3. Select POP3.
Click Next.
4. Under the User Information header.
Enter your name in the Your Name field.
Enter your email address in the Email Address field.
Under the Server Information header.
Enter pop3.molalla.net in the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) field.
Enter smtp.molalla.net in the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field.
Under the Login Information header.
Enter your complete email address in the Email Address field.
Enter your password in the password field.
Select Remember Password.
Click on More Settings.
5. Select the Outgoing Mail Server tab.
6. Select My Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication.
Verify that Use Same Settings as My Incoming Mail Server is selected.
Click OK.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Finish.

3) In Windows Live Mail
1. Open Windows Live Mail and select Add an e-mail account

2. In the first Add an E-mail Account window type in your full E-mail address, Password, Display Name or name that you would like recipients to see when you send mail, and Select Manually configure server settings for e-mail account.

3. In the second Add an E-mail Account window make sure POP3 is selected for My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
Under Incoming server: pop3.molalla.net
Under Login ID Type full e-mail address with @molalla.net
Under Outgoing server: smtp.molalla.net
And Select My outgoing server requires authentication.
Click Next.

4. Click on Finish, you are now ready to send and receive e-mails via Windows Live Mail.

4) In Windows Mail
1. Open Windows Mail and select Tools and Accounts

2. Select Add…

3. In the Select Account Type window make sure E-mail Account is selected and click Next.

4. In the Your Name window type in the name you would like recipients to see when you send an E-mail and click Next.

5. In the Internet E-mail Address window type your full E-mail address and click Next.

6. In the Set up e-mail servers window make sure the Incoming e-mail server type is set to POP3.
Under Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: Type pop3.molalla.net
Under Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) name: Type smtp.molalla.net
Select Outgoing server requires authentication
Click Next

7. In the Internet Mail Logon window type in your full e-mail address with @molalla.net and type in your password. Click Next.

8. Click Finish on the Congratulations page and you are now ready to send and receive e-mails via Windows Mail.
